So I set a goal of 15 miles in January 2012. The thing is we are taking a vacation this summer that might involve 15 miles in one day or one afternoon depending on the situation, so this is a good start towards increasing endurance so I'm not the one left in the dust of a Smithsonian.
We put 1.4 miles underfoot, and when you look at pure numbers, that's almost 10% of my goal for the month. I can do this, with a little prodding from family and friends and the accountability of the blog, I only need to do this 9 more times this month to make the goal.
My husband asked what I'd do if I make my goal early and I joked that I'd get a hot fudge sundae.... Well maybe a hot fudge flavored pudding cup! I just know that being 1 step closer 2 the goal makes me feel better than starting from scratch.
